Canada Kids Film Festival to screen animation from Iran

The Canada Kids Film Int’l Festival is to screen animation ‘Kelileh & Demneh’ from Iran.

The Canada Kids Film International Festival 2017 has set to screen the animation ‘Kelileh & Demneh’ from Iran.

Directed by Alireza Tavakkoli-Bina, ‘Kelileh & Demneh’ will go on the festival’s screen on September 23, 2017, at 8 am in York Civic Centre, Toronto, Canada.

The animation is an 80-minute production about two young jackals affected by the excessive hunting going on in the jungle.

When they get older, Kelileh narrates the story of those difficult days, when the greed and disloyalty of some of the animals to the lion king almost resulted in famine.

The drama starts in the middle of a rainy night when the horrified owl pays a visit to the king of the jungle to report about the excessive hunting he had witnessed.

Canada Kids Film festival is part of an annual celebration, Canada Kids Festival, the largest children festival of Canada. It is a free admission event, providing a series of activities for children and youth.

The event attracts a number of top community members and leaders, large and active businesses, educators and artists.

It delivers live performances from musicians, dancers, magicians and circus performances to more than 50,000 visitors.

The 2017 edition of the Canada Kids Film International Festival is slated for September 21-24.
